Stéphane Leclercq

Prior to founding SKU Science, Stephane has been executive and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in the high-tech industry. Stephane has been leading operations and teams in an international and multicultural environment (US, Asia, Europe).
Co-founder of 2 software startups (Ateo Finance an independent financial software company, CoFluent Design sold to Intel in 2011), Stephane cumulates 10 years of experience in large corporations such as Intel and Motorola. He established go to market strategies and launched several innovative solutions in industries as diverse as IT finance, Electronics/Semiconductor, Embedded, IoT and Big Data.
Stephane is APICS’ certified in production and inventory management part 1.

CTO & co-founder

Thomas Robert

Thomas is an agile software product expert with 10 years experience in the B2B software industry, including 6 years at Intel in charge of simulation product vision, strategy and roadmap and 4 years at CoFluent Design as software developer and consultant (Canon, STMicro, Huawei, Sandisk...). Thomas is familiar with international and multicultural environments. Certified SCRUM master, his skills spans from customer requirements down to development support for a variety of technologies (JavaScript, C++) with a focus on agile organizations.
Thomas is APICS’ certified in production and inventory management part 1.

Nicolas Vandeput

Nicolas Vandeput is a supply chain data scientist specialized in demand forecasting and inventory optimization. He founded his consultancy company SupChains in 2016 and co-founded SKU Science. He enjoys discussing new quantitative models and how to apply them to business reality. Passionate about education, Nicolas is both an avid learner and enjoys teaching at universities: he has taught forecasting and inventory optimization to master students since 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. He is now responsible for teaching both subjects to master students in CentraleSupelec, Paris, France. He published "Data Science for Supply Chain Forecasting" in 2018 (second edition in 2021) and "Inventory Optimization: Models and Simulations" in 2020.

Our story

Founded by supply chain and software experts with successful track record in the launch of innovative software solutions, both in startups and multinational corporations, SKU Science leverages technological disruptions brought by Cloud hosted applications, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and IoT to develop new affordable services for supply chain stakeholders.

Our story started in 2017, following several conversations with close friends, also supply chain professionals. They were complaining about the lack of appropriate tools for their needs. We realized then, there was an opportunity to come up with innovative solutions to address these gaps. We decided to better refine those needs in order to build the appropriate cloud based solution. After several rounds of interviews, we identified several key recurring problems, and decided to create SKU Science to address them.

About our solution

Although we are not affiliated with APICS, CSCMP, CIPS, ISM, IBF or any other associations, we try whenever it’s possible to comply with their production and inventory management definitions and methods . Hence, SKU Science may be used during the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning and Master Scheduling processes.If you see extra features needed to better align with their recommendations we’ll be glad to review them to improve our offer and product roadmap.
